After searching for a genuine handmade rug in stores, I saw a rug on the website and contacted Alrug. Alrug patiently answered all of my questions about the rug I was interested in and I was convinced that it was the rug I wanted. Delivery was quick. Delivery included a certificate of authenticity and care instructions for the rug. I was so delighted by the purchase, I took pictures of the rug on my floor and sent the pictures to Alrug. I also contacted Alrug and asked if they could design a round rug based on the same design. Alrug was very cooperative and agreed to provide that special order. Buying a rug online is scary. Alrug made this process easy and reassuring. I found a rug on their site that I loved but by the time I was ready to buy it, it had been sold. I contacted the company and they said they could have the same rug custom made for me. They sent me updates throughout the process and sent lots of high quality and detailed photos. Everything was as they said it would be. The color, size, quality, price, and timeline. I could not be happier with the finished rug and customer service. I am also pleased they state on their website "Our commitment to Fair Trade and Ethical Business Practices can be judged by the fact that we strictly enforce policies against child labor in cooperation with SOS Children Villages of Pakistan.
